Employer Readiness Program · BEST (Block 1) & GTJ (Block 2)
Building Employability Skills Training
A fully online, self-paced module that prepares internationally qualified tradespeople to confidently present to Australian employers — building confidence, workplace know-how, licensing awareness and job-ready résumé and interview skills.
How this module works
Each unit mixes plain-language teaching with flip cards, scenarios, matching activities and knowledge checks.
Your place is saved automatically. Mark each unit complete and watch your progress bar fill as you go.
Finish with a 25-question assessment. Score 80% or more to unlock your certificate.
Enter your name and download an official TPA Certificate of Completion to share with employers.

Build awareness of how trade licensing and skills recognition work in Australia, why they are state-based, and how your licensing status affects the roles you can take. Information only — no RPL or TRA processing. ~40 min

Build an Australian-format trade résumé, write a simple cover letter or expression of interest, and prepare for interviews using the STAR method — ready for your mock employer interview in Block 2. ~60 min
